Practicing peaceful play speech

This week we have been focusing on our inquiry topic,  Practicing peaceful plays.
For our topic we have been doing a PPP (Practising peaceful plays) speech.

Here is the start of my speech......

Kon'nichiwa, hi my name is Te Harangi and today I will be talking about our inquiry topic, practising peaceful plays. In 1902 a game was invented by Elizabeth Magie. That game was Monopoly. Monopoly is a board game play worldwide. This game was first known as The landlord’s game. Henry George was the original inventor of The landlord’s game. But Elizabeth changed the name and made the game more fun. In 1933 a man named Parker Brothers sold a game similar to the game monopoly and was played through the 20th century. This game is usually played for fun to keep calm and to play with family. Just think, What would it be like if we didn’t understand what practising peaceful play was? for example we would be arguing throughout every game we play. But thankfully we all know what it means.

My next step for my speech is to recraft it.
Please leave feedback or feedforward :D
